Our aim is to retain the excitement and vibrancy of live recording, to that end we try and record on location and live where possible to capture the spontaneity of performance.
Genuine Folk wants to make it easy for musicians to record and sell their music without being tied into the extended agreements that traditional record companies usually offer. Instead, we sign agreements for single recordings, with no obligation to record with us again.
